Well maintained vintage motel next to many restaurants.
The bed was hard and theire was not hardly any hot water for two showers! We complained and the clerk didn't really care.
After getting a regular room we noticed they had Handicap also. They let us change with no hassel, no change in the charge for the room, and the Handicap room had a ramp to get in the door to the room; most places do not have as good a ramp for room access. The location was fine for us; we made a last minute decision to go and needed a good room at a reasonable price, so , for us, it was good and we would stay again when we get to come back in a month or so.
A refrigerator would have been nice cause somtimes our Medicne needs to stay cool, but did not have that Medicine with us this time.
Motel is a good value in an area where prices tend to be high due to proximity of the beach. It is older but well maintained and clean. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance.
We did not like anything about your hotel!...Especially the two girls that clean the rooms standing outside our rooms smoking and gossiping! The beds seemed dirty, the towls were horribly rough and the little refrigerator kept us up the first night with it's humming & girgling! We didn't get any rest there both nights and will never come back to this hotel-ever! I would like to be refunded immediately!!!!! We drove 16 hours straight-through from San Diego for a Funeral and we were miserable both nights in your hotel
I liked the location, the cleanliness of the room. Came back from a day of fishing, room was cleaned, the bed was made, was pleasantly suprised! Most places wouldn't touch your room until you check out. The manger was very nice and friendly. It is a budget-friendly, so if your looking for luxury, this isn't it. It's an older motel, but they have tried to keep it up (new paint). The bed is hard, but nice sheets and bedspread. All in all, it was what we expected in that price range.
The hard bed!
Had no complaints about the room was a great deal for the money when I go back I plan on using this hotel again freindly staff right in town close to the beach and shopping
The owners are most friendly, work hard to keep the older building clean and comfortable. When we arrived they had us take a look at a couple different rooms and said that we could choose which suited us best. Very nice of them. They actually pointed out things that they felt would and wouldn't work for us. Location to restaurants, shops and trails was great. We were in town for baseball youth games, less than a mile from the fields. Many times we just walked.
We knew what we were getting, so I can't complain about anything. I would for sure stay here again.
Great room to crash in for a night, I wouldn't want to stay there for much more than that. The people at the desk were super friendly and good hot water. The car port was nice. Lots of food in the area.
The room smelt weird....
Nothing. This Motel was way over priced for the service and out of line with the service that my friends received at better Motels at a lower price than I had to pay. and they also receive breakfast meals which we did not.
The location is good, the hotel is older but seems in good condition. Managers/owners are very helpful and attentive. Matress is old and springs worn out but still passable. Room is clean.
This place was filthy dirty. The screens were coated with layers of grim. The towels looked dirty. We didn't stay. I'm not a clean freak but there was no way I'd stay there.
Pacific Sunset Inn is a low- priced motel near route 101 in Brookings, or. The staff was very friendly and helpful. WiFi access was better that some much more expensive motels we've visited. I'm giving a no on the recommend button, but this is a reasonable place to stay if you are on a low budget and just want a clean place to sleep and shower.
There were a few ants in the room, but I prefer that to extensive spraying of insecticides. Something went wrong with their cable access at about 12:15am and there was static on all channels. I didn't call the office since I was ready to go to sleep. The television was barely watchable due to old age.
A great, simple place to sleep comfortably after a day at the beach.
Consider shortening the password for WiFi.
Over priced for what you got, very small dark rooms. Whole motel is old and run down.
